Hey Guys,
I really need prayer.
My youth pastor's have asked me to join the my youth group Worship band, and they want me to go practice with them on Sunday, after Church. I will be the only girl in the band, and I don't sing in front of ANYONE.
The people who have actually heard me, are really encourging me to do this, but when I get nervous I forget the words and my voice gets really shakey and I sound HORRRRIBLE. Also, the guy that I have had a crush on forever is the drummer, so that only makes it worse for me...

Just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
keep me in prayer.
I'm really nervous, and I know prayer is the only thing that is going to get me through this.

just to let you know, you'll never get over being nervous unless you try it a few times. it won't happen overnight, sure. but the more you get used to it, the more comfortable you'll be with it, and i dare say, the more you'll enjoy it.

i was a worship leader in my church worship team for almost 5 years
and its actually something you should pray about alot not just do its deffanatly a calling not ment for everyone and i get that your nervious it is kinda diff getting up in front of people to sing i was tarifyed of it i hated singing in front of people it used to make me feel like throwing up but when its a calling you cant really argue with God on what to do
and see worship is all about God not on how you sound he really does not care at all about that he'll use you even if you cant sing

wow thats so great! i remember when i first joined the worship group except then i was the only one singing. i couldnt get over being nervous and actually singing to God, praising him. but after awhile you will learn that and you'll LOVE it and wont even notice the drummer :]
i miss being in the worship group...

andrew, just shut up.... hahaha, you're so full of drummers.... ugh! but... yeah, there's this drummer at school who's really cute.... w/e, anyway....


you should go for it!! just sing to God, and nothing else will matter.

Hmm... worship bands are good. when you sing just imagine you are in the place you feel most comfortable singing at. You crush -in your mind- is not there.
