Of course I look like a total n00b not posting this in "music" but I wanted it straight from Falling Up ;). One song that's I've always wondered about is Jacksonfive. What was the meaning of that? I know it almost all the way through (about halfway through the bridge can't get) and still can't get what's the meaning of it. Also, near the end where it says, "So really, where would we be if not free? I know we'd rise again from Romans 3:23" Maybe I'm thinking to hard, but what'd that have to do with anything? Anyways, I'll just ask about that song for now.

I've talked 2 them already, sent a rather longish e-mail and got no responce. Also, they seemed 2 respond a lot 2 this other thing I saw.

A whole lot. Like asking them if the backflip was real and if so how exactly. Asking them I think something like what was their new album going to be like. Or that is a question I have. Is it not so direct like just saying, "You can only help me" or more direct like, "I need your help Jesus" That's all I can think of right now except for how much screaming is there.

i was also wondering about the song Jacksonfive- and how did they pic that name for it?? lol..i dunno though...

Same here, that was always my top question, what was that all about and how'd they get the name.

I have a guess on why its named Jacksonfive...
The song is kind of a collaboration of five artists...

1.Falling up
2.Benjamin J.
3.Paul Wright
4.Jon Micah from Kutless
5.Ryan from Demon Hunter

I just guessed that they called it Jacksonfive because of the 5 artists(although falling up has 6 members I counted the whole group as just one) collaborating together.

yeah, that's a good point, makes sense. i think we were never really meant to understand the meanings of some of the songs. maybe they just pray that somehow the songs will speak to our "spirit man" and he'll get it and we'll be encouraged as a result of it. i really like it that way though, because i usually get really tired of cd's after so long, but this one you can never really figure out, so it's always fresh .... great marketing move actually.

Doesn't Jacksonfive have something to do with Michael Jackson? Like, I keep attatching it with him, like maybe his family had a group called that or something. I don't know, I have a twited mind, so I may have it all mixed up, but that may be why they're like "we're coming at you LIKE the Jacksonfive" I don't know, as usual, just putting it out.

I always thought that the song was talkin about just basicly tellin everyone about god and the things he does for us...as for the title i just thought it was all the people in it like it says in the other posts

Also there is five singers maybe that's why they say "coming at you like the jackson five" there were five singers in Jackson Five ya know?
